Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst Guest Strategy & Analytics will support various data driven projects designed to enhance the onboard guest experience by assessing a range of data sources to deliver insights via story-driven reporting.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong passion and curiosity for market research and consumer insights, logical reasoning, analytical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities. To perform this position successfully, the individual should be a self-starter and be able to complete a project with little direction. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manner.
This role involves leading and designing programming of quantitative and qualitative research, analyzing primary and secondary data from multiple sources, and supporting our post-cruise guest satisfaction survey.
The analyst will partner with onboard revenue and other operational business owners to evaluate the impact of new policies, operational procedures, or strategical initiatives to improve our NPS score. This may include ongoing reporting as well as ad-hoc analyses including analyzing a large volume of text comments shared in post cruise survey or other channels of communications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the various teams of Hotel Operations to understand their business challenges and objectives and identify opportunities to develop potential business improvements and efficiency gains.
Analyze guest satisfaction for various parts of the operation including Onboard Revenue, Food and Beverage, Entertainment, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Casino
Set operational onboard guest satisfaction targets
Partner with Hotel Directors, Vice Presidents of Operations to help them understand their fleet's performance and develop action plans that correlate with the data
Aid in the development of the annual operating & strategic plan update for the Royal hotel group
Develop executive level reporting to inform senior management on fleet performance
Be a key contributor to all aspects of consumer insights reporting and analysis while ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of reporting.
Continuously refine analyses based on feedback and evolving business objectives.
Maintain project timelines and deliverables, prepare materials, and manage presentation logistics with team management.
Design rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas, trends, and KPIs to internal business teams
Conduct product performance reviews across various operational areas to identify actionable insights, make recommendations, and influence the business by effectively communicating results to management.
Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis needs while supporting various projects.
Conduct analyses of business data, evaluate trends and pattern changes, and learn to disperse results in a format appropriate for the given audience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline required
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Demonstrated experience in project management
Highly proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI)
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision making, and problem-solving abilities along with analytical aptitude, inquisitive nature, and passion for uncovering insights
Knowledge and Skills:
High creativity, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in global environment
Attention to detail
Ability to operate in a team environment
Ability to find and understand the correct data sources for a given analysis
Analyze data, research, identify patterns, and explain findings to business audiences to improve products and processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and responsibilities at once
