The financial analyst will work closely and frequently with partners based both in Manila and in Chicago, to ensure the financial goals of the business unit and of Northern Trust are metMajor Duties:Assist in the monthly/quarterly/annual reporting process, preparing analyses and reports of results relative to prior year, prior month, and/or Plan focusing on key business factors driving financial performance.Assist in the analysis for and production of monthly/quarterly/annual presentation of results to key stakeholders and business unit partners.Assist in the annual Planning process, compiling information, analysis, and preparing reports.Assist in the monthly/quarterly forecast process.Develop strong relationships and closely coordinate with both partners in Manila and other locations in carrying the identified responsibilities.Work closely with the local and onshore managers, as well as members of the team in identifying process improvements to enhance the productivity and efficiency of the team and in developing financial/business metrics that are vital to stakeholders' decision-making.Actively participate in special projects and ad hoc requests to support the management, focusing on key business factors driving financial performance, as well as supplement reports needed by business partnersKnowledge/ Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask across several different projects at a given timeRelevant experience in Financial and Accounting processes is preferredEffective written and verbal communication skills to present relevant information to the Senior Management group and to various stakeholdersPossess ability to work effectively and build relationships across a matrix structure and with a diverse management teamProficiency with Office 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneDrive, and Teams, to efficiently perform analyses and communicate financial information to various stakeholdersKnowledgeable in PeopleSoft, HFM, TM1/Cognos, and other similar systems used in financial reporting, planning and analysisExperience with business intelligence analytical tools required to interpret data, perform analyses and communicate financial information to various constituents. Knowledge and experience in Power BI reporting is a plusFlexible and a team playerExperience RequiredCPA a plus but not required. 3-6 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Project Analysis, and other relevant functional areas which may cover Accounting, Financial, Management & Statutory Reporting and other Accounting and Finance-related areas.Industry knowledge is beneficialWorking Hours5AM - 2PM, Mondays - Friday , Hybrid Set-up.Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
