Position: Analyst, Finance Data Governance Operations
Location: Manila, Philippines
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Finance Data Governance, the Analyst, Finance Data Governance Operations is accountable for possible solutions to revenue and finance data issues using data and analytical approach. The role requires building strong knowledge of the organization, processes and data domains and is expected to solve a range of tactical and strategic problems with moderate guidance and direction. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, excellent time-management, priority setting, organizational habits, the ability to clearly communicate and present information to drive results and consensus, and excellent team interaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data and identifies performance improvement opportunities specific but not limited to, revenue issues and Order to Cash (O2C)
Supports MDM (customer & product) operations
Supports relationship-building with cross-functional peers to understand current operational processes and identify possible gaps that may be contributing to lower key metric results; may document operational processes as input to improvement initiatives
Queries large sets of data to facilitate and conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying drivers behind performance gaps
Facilitates action planning sessions cross-functionally. Aids in developing recommendations involving operational changes that are expected to improve results; assists in testing of new/revised processes
Facilitates the implementation of action plans in collaboration with cross-functional leads and key stakeholders
Identifies problems that may jeopardize the analysis or program and works with manager to determine contingency plans
Contributes to decisions regarding analytic design, information requirements and deliverable schedules
Qualifications:
Strong data analytical skills (Snowflake, SQL, SFDC Reporting)
Experience in data governance and/or Quote to Cash (Q2C)
Very strong analytical thinking and analytic aptitude and attention to detail
Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Strong sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in an environment where activities and deliverables are dependent on a diverse group of technical and business functional experts
Ability to work in an emerging and rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables
Open to night shift schedule
