AIRCRAFT MECHANIC
Responsible for the daily aircraft maintenance of the college which includes verification of aircraft's conformity to state regulation. This includes maintenance and repair the reported defects and ensure the plane service so it can leave in confidence.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensure that all maintenance requirements are carried out on time, including line stations checks, deferred rectification and scheduled maintenance check and as per maintenance standard and practices.
Perform line checks and inspections in accordance with customer's current instructions and approved maintenance programs and schedules.
Enter in the aircraft logbook and sign-off the performance of the line checks and inspections and any other action taken thereof an all reported discrepancies.
Perform fueling of the aircraft in accordance with the approved maintenance manual procedures.
Perform daily routine check and inspection after termination of all flights and pre-flight inspection immediately before aircraft departure.
Enter all ground remarks in the Aircraft logbooks regarding defects observed during checks and inspections and comply with the generated non-routine and routine remarks as required.
Rectify defects entered in the Aircrafts logbooks as reported by the Flight Crew or revealed during Ground Inspection. In case of no rectification, defer the action in accordance with the customer's aircraft MEL procedures and restrictions.
Perform routine inspections in accordance with the aircrafts maintenance manual procedures as a result of lightning strikes, turbulence, hard landing, etc.
Maintain safety and cleanliness in the workplace and recommended to immediate superiors any information that will ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
Perform functional tests and other checks that will ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness as specified in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.
Accomplish all pertinent documents (i.e. R&I, ground handling form, check sheets, etc.) required in the performance of the tasks, as applicable.
Perform the duty of Delegated Quality Control Inspector as applicable to rating.
Perform other related duties that Superiors may assign.
