A growing Canadian-based CPA and Consulting Firm is looking for an Admin Assistantwithoutstanding communication, and organizational skills, and who has a strong desire to make a difference with the firm's team members and customers. The Role: You would work remotely but also closely with AMLB's co-founders (former Fortune 500 executives) who prioritize learning, and collaborative culture and provide mentorship along the way. Qualifications: Technology-savvy and willing to learn quickly. Highly organized and proficient with the use of Microsoft OneDrive / SharePoint Calendar and email management We use Zoom.ai for calendaring and We use Karbon as our email triage and workflow management software. Highly motivated to contribute and grow together. Excellent communicator Previously supported CEOs or senior leaders in a technology start-up or cloud accounting firm are a plus. Responsibilities: Being a virtual accounting firm, we use tech to get much of our work done so this is critical. We need someone who is open to learning, has a positive mindset and is very comfortable in an agile and fast-paced environment. Highly organized and proficient with the use of Microsoft OneDrive / SharePoint. We are revamping our approach to document management, so would like the individual to create the new folder hierarchy and move/rename all existing files/folders into the new hierarchy. Then, going forward, proactively review the document repository with the Frim Founders to ensure the information is easy to access. Calendar and email management - the VA would be supporting both executives, in managing emails and calendars as per the list of responsibilities you sent across. A couple of points here: o We use Zoom.ai for calendaring, so don't need a lot of help in booking meetings, but would put the person as an admin on the tool, so he/she becomes a super user and ensures the settings are. o We use Karbon as our email triage and workflow management software. We would like the person to become a super-user of Karbon, where he/she could triage our emails and ensure we're optimizing our use of the software to manage our work (i.e. creating process templates, testing client tasks, etc.). Highly motivated to contribute and grow together - we are a newer firm but have ambitious growth plans. We need someone with a desire to contribute to our firm's growth, for the benefit of our people and clients, and in turn, we are comfortable compensating at a higher rate for the high-potential talent. We also recognize excellent performance throughout the year in various ways (monetary and non-monetary) Excellent communicator - the individual will help create proposals, draft emails, correspond with our outsourced bookkeeper(s), take internal company meeting minutes and manage our company's social media pages (LinkedIn and Twitter primarily).
