About the Role
We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant to support our Australian client. The AR Assistant will be responsible for managing the company's incoming payments, tracking and monitoring invoicing transactions, and ensuring that customer accounts are accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities
Manage and organize the company's invoices and payments in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and collection efforts
Review and reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis
Communicate effectively with clients and other departments to resolve discrepancies and concerns
Prepare and distribute financial reports on a regular basis
Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation related to the accounts receivable process
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to optimize the company's financial operations
Set up new customer account applications and procedure documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
Knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
