What will I be doing?
One of the great things about this role is that you really will be providing administrative support on processing invoices to our customers covering a Global footprint. This team has a strong focus on ensuring data is of optimised quality to enable the efficient, timely and accurate processing of invoices through our systems. This team works extremely closely with other finance teams including the management accountants and credit control.
Specifically, key responsibilities include:
Create and amend customers in D365, maintain master list and ensure contract details are up to date.
Accurately process billing requests within the D365 Fin&Ops system covering customers in both APAC and EMEA Regions
Raising invoices for completed work and tracking of project milestones to assess whether work is ready to be invoiced, in accordance with contractual terms.
Ensuring customer projects are set up appropriately in our project management and financial systems to enable optimal capture of work completed and therefore facilitate the ability to invoice against that work in the future
Working closely with the Line of Business Accountant to ensure completeness of invoicing
Provide accurate and timely management information regarding the status of invoices as required
Respond to internal and external queries in a timely manner and escalating issues as they arise, e.g. sending copy invoices as requested.
Assisting and working collaboratively with the transaction team to support with peaks and troughs in workload, in order to achieve team objectives and KPI's.
Assist in month-end closing activities
Leverage on your expertise by constantly seeking out better ways of performing processes that contribute to process excellence initiatives; share best practices in Accounts Receivable within your team.
What skills and experience can you bring to the role?
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in an Accounts Receivable role within a Finance team and ideally in a BPO set-up. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. We expect you to have good IT skills (preferably using Microsoft Office 365 programmes) and have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines as well as keeping team colleagues informed of progress on key tasks. Given that you will be working with the personal and sensitive date of employees across the globe it is essential that you demonstrate the ability to keep information confidential and ensure data protection is your top priority at all times. You will also need a strong attention to detail in order to ensure you work accurately.
