Job Responsibilities
Lead the functional process of the Accounts Payable department by leading the Invoice Processing team including development and implementation of procedures and methods to monitor work activities and ensuring appropriate levels of resource; analyzing department budget to determine budget needs or reductions
Develops team members through coaching and feedback on results. Moves decisively on performance problems
Lead, mentor and monitor delivery of month end account results to management within the agreed timeframe and in the required format
Lead manage monitor delivery of Invoice & AP Objectives based on the principles of superior customer service, continuous improvement and best practice
Maintains excellent relationships with internal customers to ensure mutual goals are achieved and up-to-date knowledge of best practices within the Accounts Payable environment
Delivery of reports to management, to include audit requirements both for internal and external auditors within the agreed timeframe and in the required format
Identifies areas of potential process improvement, develops and enforces appropriate policies, procedures and internal controls.
Ensures Vendor Terms are reflective of agreements and Company Policy through regular review and changes maintained on a timely basis.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree - Finance and Related Fields
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Accounts Payable Lead in a high-volume transaction
Minimum 3 years' experience of coaching and leading people (should be at least medium size and diverse team)
Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable, working in a high volume environment (vendor and transactional)
Experience of SAP and ERP Payables systems
Experience of Payables process Automation and Systems Solutions
Proven record of country migration into a Shared Service center
Experience in handling Account Reconciliations and Settlements
Strong project and change management skills, familiarity with project management approaches and tools required
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong people leadership skills, people development experience, proven ability to lead, motivate and train
