The Accounts Payable Specilaist performs processing of payments for approved invoices including preparing payment forecast,payment proposals, issue resolution, processing of manual / exception payments (including tax remissions e.g., Sales & Use, VAT), and performs blackline reconciliations. Additionally this position is responsible for disbursement related accounts clearing and entries. . Payment analysts is responsible for the preparation and analysis of Vendor On Time Payment KPI to forecast trend and results, prepares and reviews Potential Duplicate invoices and payments, ensures that debit balances are applied to existing open invoices or refunded from the vendors. . He/She will be also the first point of contact for all accounts payable issues and acts as the officer in charge in the absence of his/her immediate Team Lead. He/She possess basic people management and stakeholder engagement skills. Qualifications Education/Certification: . Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance . Preferably with knowledgeable / trained in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies Professional Experience: '. 5 + years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable working with SAP journal entries and closing cycles . Cross functional experience in other accounting/finance functions . Experience in process improvement activities . Experience in accounting and financial systems . Proficient in using SAP preferred . Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite Project and/or Process Experience: .
