Job Purpose
Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Responsibilities
Broad Objectives:
• Review invoices and check requests
• Set invoices up for payment
• Process check requests
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Produce monthly reports in preparation for month-end activities
• Assist in month-end closing
Other
• Complete tasks delegated/assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
• Perform other reasonable duties as required
Competencies
Education and Experience
• College Graduate with a Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 1 year accounts payable and general accounting experience
• Must be amenable to work from home until further notice
