We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work with an established Australian Company which has been dedicated to bringing innovative products to the agricultural, industrial and government industries in the spraying and liquid cartage sector.
With strong family values, this is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller, to ensure payments of accounts.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Receipt and cost all inward goods received from stores and inventory manager
Distribute invoices with no purchase orders to appropriate person to authorize
Enter all approved invoices into MYOB Exonet
Provide payment schedules as required
Liaise with Store and inventory teams for updates on invoices received but not processed
Follow through invoices with no purchase orders based on company policy
Establish payment run for bank transfer
Complete reconciliation of supplier statements to Exonet
Completion of supplier account applications as required
Other identified tasks as appropriate to the role.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience Accounts Payable or general accounts experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience with MYOB or any complex accounting system is valued
Excellent English communication skills
Great attention to detail with the ability to follow up anomalies
Be highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
