Responsible for managing the company's day- to-day vendor and expense Accounts Payable and Purchasing operations including problem resolution, purchasing cards, and purchase order issuance. Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments while continually working toward process improvements and best in class services.ResponsibilitiesExpense ReportsReview and verification of company policy as needed on flagged expense reportsReviews and addresses holds, unaccounted and distribution variance transactionsProvide training and support to employees on expense policies and proceduresEnsure timely reimbursement of employee expenses and communication with employees on policy issuesMonitors hold reports for dated items, determine root cause and work with employees, IT and/or HR teams to resolve issuesPaymentsEnsures correct payment method used for employeesCoordinating payment failures and bank updates working with P2P team, vendor master and IT Query ResolutionWorks proactively with critical and complex employees to ensure effective processingReporting & ControlsAdheres to company policies, SOX US GAAP and tax, legal, statutory requirementsConducting research and preparing various reports, including data pulls for special projectsPrepares reporting as required by supervisor/managerSystems and Process EfficienciesCoaches colleagues in best practice and adoption of policy, process and proceduresSupports the development and validation of staff training materialGeneral maintenance, proxies, troubleshooting technical issues and delegation set ups related to ConcurBackup for Concur systems and interfacesTicket escalations before they get to Tier 2Looks for ways to simplify and drive efficiencies feeding back to managementProject ManagementLocal SME and process lead participating in cross functional projects impacting purchase to pay (i.e., Oracle Cloud upgrades, enhancements, and projects)Qualifications5+ Years working in Finance5+ Years working in Global Accounts payable, Expenses and PaymentsCPA/ICMA/ACCA Certified Accountant preferredAppZen experience a plusRequired5+ Years working in FinanceExperience managing Global expense payments in various countries.Strong project management skillsDemonstratable Oracle Cloud, Service Now and Coupa experienceComplex problem-solving skills around Global bank and payment processesAvailable to work in AMER (US EST) working hoursAvailable to work in Manila office locationEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
