Accounts Payable Manager manages all activities in the accounts payable function. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Being an Accounts Payable Manager reviews applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
Manages all activities in Accounts Payable function.
Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintain accurate records and control reports
Subsidiary ledgers vs General ledgers
Ensures proper accounting entries are taken up in processing payables
Reviews applicable accounting records and AP register to ensure accuracy.
Reports to Controllership Head and manages subordinate staff in day -to - day performance of their jobs.
Ensures department / project milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Extensive knowledge of department processes.
At least 5 years experience in related area as individual contributor but at least with 1 to 3 years supervisory experience.
