Responsible for:
Supervising, coaching and overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable & Expense Management Officers
Measuring and reporting on team and individual staff performance against agreed SLA's and KPI's to support the strategic objectives
Overseeing Accounts Payable and Expense Management Processes
Reconciling Fixed Assets and month end reporting
Daily Bank reconciliation
As a Finance Team Leader:
Oversee the performance and motivation of the
Accounts Payable & Expense Management team ensuring effective and efficient personnel and practices.
Assisting with training and coaching of Accounts Payable & Expense Management team members.
Optimising skill levels within the Accounts Payable & Expense Management team to facilitate multi-skilling and cross-training of all positions.
Providing leadership and coaching to facilitate development of an effective and proactive Accounts Payable & Expense Management team.
Ensuring internal and external customers (vendors) are provided with excellent customer service.
Measuring and reporting on team and individual staff performance against agreed KPI's to support strategic objectives
A BIT ABOUT YOU
Extensive experience across all facets of Accounts Payable & Expense Management.
Accounting qualification is essential. CPA qualified.
Prior experience supervising an Accounts Payable team, minimum 3-5 years.
Sound knowledge of Expense Management function acquired in a medium to large organization.
Proven history in process driven environment and roles.
Superior level of computer skills: Excel and Word and has demonstrated prior experience working with computerised accounting packages/software.
Taxation knowledge including FBT and GST.
Clear, persuasive, concise and professional communication skills - both written and verbal.
Attention to detail.
Numerical acumen.
Problem solving skills.
Advanced account reconciliation skills.
Ability to work effectively within a broad and diverse team and able to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Ability to work independently within an environment of high-level of governance and tight deadlines.
Able to prioritise and focus team resources as best required by the business, excellent utilisation of time management skills.
