Accounts Payable associateAboitiz InfraCapital

The position is responsible in the processing of Accounts Payable transactions which includes the following transactions but is not limited to: checking of filed requests, validation of supporting documents, parking of accounting entries, monitoring of transactions up to the compilation of documents, and preparation of monthly schedules.
A. Accounts payable
Encodes vouchers and ensures proper charging of accounts with compliance to company policies and procedures.
Ensures completeness of monthly accruals and their corresponding reversals; and cancelled transactions in SAP.
Updates vendor ledger to ensure that no payable should lapse beyond one month from date of approval unless there's a valid reason.
Updates and maintains monthly schedules of accounts payable and accrued expenses and ensures that all balances of accounts payable in the books tie up with the general ledger balance.
Ensures timely payment of obligations by ensuring that the tasks assigned to them are completed accurately and on time.
B. Process improvements
Supports the team in carrying out any process improvements as may deem necessary for disbursement process.
C. Others
Notifies requestors or vendors for any concerns related to the filed disbursements requests.
Ensures validity of transactions in SAP and prepares necessary reconciliations as needed.
Ensures timely and complete processing of BIR form 2307.
Education: Bachelor of Accountancy or any Finance related course
Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in General Accounting and AP
License / Certification and Training Requirement: Certified Public Accountant is preferred
