The Accounts Payable Team handles the payment management side of the business. The team functions to ensure vendors are paid in timely manner and timing of payments is managed to ensure every payment transactions is properly funded. Analysis is done to understand which vendors to prioritize taking advantage of cash discounts if there are any. Duties & Responsibilities: Scan invoices and process the invoices for payment Prepare Monthly reconciliations Preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of Cash and Balance Sheet accounts Compliance with the preparation and maintenance of updated process documentations Qualifications: Graduate of Accounting or Equivalent (Accounting Technology) Candidate should have between 2-3 years of experience doing bookkeeping functions. Working in the Accounts Payable Department is an advantage. QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required. Knowledgeable in spreadsheet, computing application and word processing applications Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance policies and procedures Has the ability to work independently to conform to tight deadlines Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Good analytical ability with excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills and outstanding attention to details Ammenable to work on a Early Morning Shift schedule. WFH equipment will be provided to the successful candidate.
