About the Role
We are currently undergoing a significant transition period with a lot of exciting changes ahead - this will not be your standard Accounts Payable role; every day will be different! The Accounts Payable Administrator reports to ANZ AP Team Lead and has responsibility for all Accounts Payable and Procurement Support deliverables for the New Zealand-based Datacom group of companies.
Data analysis
Understanding, interpreting, and resolving queries
Invoice entry, coding, and approval for general expense invoices within agreed time frames
Processing invoices for payment and seeking approval from relevant internal approvers
Vendor maintenance
Liaising with the internal treasury team
Processing returns
What you'll bring
The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with high attention to detail, an Accounts Payable understanding, who is familiar with working with high volumes in a large team environment in a corporate setting. Ideally, you will have a minimum of at least two years of experience within Accounts Payable. Your communication skills will be key to this role, as well as your adaptable and easy-going nature.
We're looking for quick learners and team players willing to help others! If you have experience, with high-volume environments and you're familiar with working under pressure and multi-tasking, we would like to hear from you.
Requirements
Proven working experience as Accounts Payable
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in English
Expertise in MS Excel and the ability to create models and reports using Pivot Table is a MUST
The high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
