We are looking for Accounts Payable Accountant, responsible for the processing of Accounts payable transactions and to contribute month-end close reports.
What are we looking for?
Graduate of B.S. Accountancy
Minimum of 2 years of meaningful experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant in Philippine setting and an advantage in a multinational environment
Preferably with extensive experience navigating an Accounting System such as Concur, SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, Navision etc
Up to date with taxes related to payables
CPA is an advantage
Good communication skills
Comfortable to report on-site for at least thrice (3x) a week
Role Responsibilities
Timely review, validation and processing request for payments and claims
Timely processing of payments and preparation of cheques or alternative payments
Releasing/Coordinate to deposit cheques to vendors
Proper document filing and retention of Accounts Payable documents
Booking of official receipts (OR)
Timely Month-end financial closing of Accounts Payable
Timely Month-end accrual of expenses
On-time Account reconciliation
Will handle bank transactions such as MC Application, Telegraphic Transfers, Withdrawals etc.
Prepare and monitor Cash Position and Forecast
Petty cash fund management
