Job Description
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices.
Makes relevant suggestions to improve the accounts payable process and ensure adequate internal controls are in place.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable accounting experience and has a good understanding of internal controls in a advertising company.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any business course.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills required.
Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency.
