Our partner is the largest traffic control, traffic management and road maintenance services company in Australia and New Zealand. They are currently looking for an accounts officer, who will be responsible for providing support to the Finance department by managing daily accounting tasks. The role will encompass working to maintain order and transparency to data entry, reconciliation, production and document control of invoices.
Primary Responsibilities
Collating and matching of Daily dockets ensuring data accuracy, meeting deadlines and ensuring all dockets are received
Generating Invoices and ensuring they match the docket data (times/travel)
Emailing weekly/daily invoices to clients in a timely manner
Creating Client Files in Pronto/Manstat
Meeting weekly deadlines for docket entry
Following up on missing dockets with internal staff
Ensuring EOM deadlines are met - all works invoice for the month
Maintaining client reports/invoice portals
Assist with other projects or ad-hoc duties as required
Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with best accounting practices and legal requirements
Secures financial information by completing databases including Manstat; keeping information confidential
