The key responsibilites include but not limited to:
Preparation of Purchase Requisition
Preparation of Payment and Receipt Vouchers
Processing of Staff Claims
Monthly billing to clients and GIRO deduction
Keying of AR and AP Payment entries
Month end and year end closing activities (e.g. Journal Vouchers, Reconciliation, Accruals)
Fixed Assets
Attending to Internal Auditor'squeries
Participating in system implementation and enhancements
Requirements:
Diploma in Accountancy from a local polytechnic
2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a VWO/SSA
Intermediate MS Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
Well versed in accounting software (e.g. Sage 300 ERP, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central)
High degree of accuracy, analytical and meticulous
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Able to multi-task, set priorities and meet multiple deadlines
Independent as well as a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
