Job Description
The Accounting Supervisor oversees the company accounting department functions to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and compliance. This includes supervising employees, maintaining financial records and assisting with the audits.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports and statements by monitoring and analyzing accounting data;
Preparation of Withholding Tax and VAT Returns and ensuring compliance with government regulations;
Works well with all areas of the business, especially accounting and finance;
Control petty cash expenditure and postings, general ledger, bank account related transactions and payroll input and postings;
Prepare cash flow management processes, reconcile accounts receivable, payable, and advances;
Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
Communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions;
Develops strong and effective working relationships with all departments;
Ensures successful communication with colleagues;
Adhering to policies and procedures and the corporate Code of Conduct.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must be a BS in Accountancy or Accounting Technology graduate;
License, a plus;
At least with 5 year strong and relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting;
With high level knowledge and competency in understanding accounting principles;
Preferably knowledgeable in Sage Accounting Software or equivalent;
Excellent quality, attention to detail, organizational, communication and team development skills.
