Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising bookkeeping and records team which cover various financial transactions, reports, and other regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise bookkeeping and expense payment processing to ensure compliance with standard turn around time.
Monitor the maintenance of the filing system to meet administrative, legal or financial requirements.
Prepare financial reports on a timely basis to provide management relevant financial information to aid them in making sound business decisions.
Supervise all tax reporting and compliance with government regulations in order to monitor the timely submission of various government reports on or before the dealine and ensure that filing and payment of taxes are complied with.
Assist in resolving BIR tax audit issues in a timely manner in order to avoid paymeny of additional penalties on late resolution of tax cases.
Handle queries and request of financial documents from internal/external customer
Monitor the productivity and efficiency of the team, initiate process inprovement, motivate and provide proper training to accounting staff/officers to achieve the team/business' goals.
Perform other duties or provide back-up for other team members as needed.
​Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any business related course
Preferably with at least 1-2 years supervisory experience
With experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
With strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
Willing to be assigned in Binondo, Manila
