Accounting SupervisorMakati Supermarket Corp.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, compliance, and tax;
Ensure the completion of month-end and year-end closes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules;
Prepare general ledger entries, maintain records and files; reconcile GL accounts and sub-ledgers;
Implement and maintain accounting principles and procedures;
Supervise and develop a team by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and mentoring.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
