ROLE SUMMARY
As the Accounting Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising, directing, and monitoring the Accounting Section of the Finance & Accounting Department specifically, the accounts payable, general ledger, inventory, taxation, financial reports, compliance to government reportorial requirements, and maintenance of the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the system's data. The incumbent officer has to always make sure the timely submission of the monthly financial statements and ensure it is accurate, reliable, and complete including the explanation of material or significant variances. He/She shall ensure reconciled general ledger accounts and that financial accounting reports are based on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Accounting Supervisor should have sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
Experience: 2 to 3 years working experience in Finance and Accounting; at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory position
Competencies and Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Applications (Word and Excel), and Accounting System; have sound knowledge in accounting principles and practices; has a deep understanding of Philippine Taxation; exposed to budget preparation
Preference: Possess a CPA license, knowledgeable in E-Commerce and Retail industry
