Reporting to the CEO, the Finance & Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the performance of a variety of duties categorized by either financial or administrative support. Preferred applicant with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a financing or lending company.
You will be managing daily operation of the firm including payment, cash management, filing of corporate documentations, annual audit, etc.; you will be responsible for preparing financial, management and regulatory reports; you will be preparing reporting package to investors and addressing their enquiries thereafter.
Full spectrum of financial and management reporting in compliance with PFRS for the Fund's and Corporate's quarterly accounts and Annual Financial Statements;
Implement and set-up new accounting and LMS system, and ensure it is compatible with the group reporting requirements;
Manage all accounting entries, payments and reimbursement for expenses claims in timely manner
Partner with the investment team to provide valuable input for each Fund's quarterly valuation reports and investor reports;
Responsible for calculation of payroll, submission of regulatory filings
In charge of annual budget and ensure it complies with local accounting standards and in-line with group policies
Work with professional advisors on regulatory license applications and provide the necessary support as and when required
Held responsible for maintenance, compliance and reporting of regulatory capital returns in compliance with SEC requirements
Accountable for submission of returns, withholding tax and income tax returns to BIR
Collaborate with local auditor on annual audit and preparation of audited financial statements
Overseeing and approving of capital call and distribution notices
Reconciling daily cash accounts
Process payroll and reimbursements
Stay current with regulations, practices, tax law and reporting requirements
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Management and stakeholder experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Preferably member of a professional accounting body (PICPA)
Strong knowledge in PFRS
2-4 years of audit / accounting/ fund accounting experience
Hands-on experience in newly setup fund and management company
Independent, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
Meticulous, organised, analytical and detail oriented
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
