Description :
Ensure timely closing of books and compliance with the accounting policies in the process.
Understand the nature of transactions and apply proper accounting treatment.
Review and ensure quality of work of team through supervision and coaching.
Consult/Confer with Regional leaders for accounting concerns.
Review and explain the Financial results and reports to stakeholder (management, HQ, Regulatory boards/Gov't)
Ensure completion and submission of reports (internal and external) on time.
Financial statement analysis, variance analysis and great business acumen for in depth explanations
Initiate/implement changes that are necessary to achieve the Team objectives. Coordinate with FP&A, GBS and T&C relating to the Manila site matters
Job Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
Certified Public Accountant - preferably but not required as supplemented by work experience and deep understanding of accounting principles.
3-5 years supervisory function of relevant experience from an MNC manufacturing company, PEZA registered entity.
Preferably skilled in SAP/Blackline/S4 Hana, with working knowledge in US GAAP and PFRS Accounting and familiarity of basic Philippine taxation
Reasonably detailed and has initiative, with integrity and business ethical standards.
Experience from a reputable accounting firm is a plus.
