ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR for manufacturer of various type of rubber/south greenheights village, muntinlupaDempsey, Inc.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Oversees the functions of the accounting assistant. 2.Collaborate with the accounting assistant on how to resolve the problems encountered on the Quickbooks Program. 3.Check the monthly reports (Trial Balance & Schedules) generated from the QB program and verify the accuracy of the figures. 4.Handle the preparation & submission of the Job Costing reports in a timely manner. 5.Monitor the activities of the new accounting clerk at the plant to ensure that all inventory transactions are recorded & properly accounted for. 6. Make plant visits to check if the inventory procedures given to the accounting clerk are being strictly followed. 7.Check and verify the month end inventory summaries submitted by the accounting clerk and QC department and make sure that all raw materials, Work In Process & Finished Goods items are included in the summary list and properly costed. 8. Follow up tax certificates (Form 2307) from customers. 9. Assist in following up problem accounts. 10.Other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
a. BS Graduate in Accounting b. Minimum of 5 years experience performing Accounting related functions. c. ISO orientation is an advantage.
d. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and leadership capabilities.
