Job Title: Accounting Staff
Reports to: Accounting Manager
 
Job Summary
The Accounting Staff member is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of company ledgers. This role involves heavy coordination with internal departments and external clients to resolve billing discrepancies and manage official documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Revenue: Prepare and issue Sales Invoices (SI) and Billing Statements; manage the distribution of Certified True Copies for audit purposes.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process incoming payments, perform bank reconciliations, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate records in the accounting system.
Documentation: Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records, including tax certificates, receipts, and stamped official documents.
Communication: Act as a liaison between the accounting office and other departments or clients to resolve financial inquiries.
Compliance: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports and tax filings.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and standard accounting software.
Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in data entry and a "keen eye" for spotting discrepancies in financial statements.
Communication: Ability to explain complex billing issues to non-accounting staff or clients clearly and professionally.
Integrity: Strong understanding of confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive financial data.
Physical/Administrative Requirements
Knowledge of local tax regulations and payroll processing
Meeting strict monthly and year-end deadlines.
