JOB OVERVIEW
 
An Accounting Staff / Accountant is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other government agencies. The role involves bookkeeping, tax filing, payroll processing, and preparation of financial reports to support management decision-making and company growth.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
At least 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of BIR processes, taxation, and government compliance is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP System or similar).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet strict deadlines.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Experience in preparing and filing BIR tax returns (VAT/Percentage Tax, Withholding Tax, Income Tax, etc.).
Ability to prepare financial reports and reconciliations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial records.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
