Qualifications & experience
Minimum 5 years of working experience is required
A graduate of Accounting or related course is an advantage
Tasks & responsibilities
Provides accounting, bookkeeping, and business administrative support related to accounting and finance
Ensures completeness and accuracy of accounting records and financial statements including but not limited to General Accounting, Books of Accounts, Trial Balance, and Bank Reconciliation
Handles payroll process and payroll computation
Computes and monthly process of government remittances such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pagibig via online as well as BIR returns via e-FPS platform
Prepares Monthly Financial Reports including Financial Statements, CAPEX (Landed Cost Report, Material Cost Report), Advances, and others as requested by the management through Quickbooks and Excel
Monitoring financial transactions and identifying discrepancies or irregularities by ensuring that financial reports comply with GAAP or financial reporting standards
Designated point person for company bank communication, responsible for managing and facilitating transactions related to the company's bank accounts. This includes communicating with the bank, ensuring timely processing of payments and receipts, and maintaining accurate records of transactions
Work closely with other members of the administrative and accounting team to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
Responsible for handling the coordination of incoming shipments with the broker and related government agencies such as the Bureau of Customs.
