Duties and Responsibilities:
Recording financial transactions by entering them into the accounting software or system accurately and in a timely manner.
Processing and managing accounts payable activities, including reviewing and verifying invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receipts, and preparing payments to vendors or suppliers.
Performing regular bank reconciliations by comparing the organization's financial records with bank statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitoring and tracking expenses, verifying expense reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintaining organized and accurate financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, contracts, and other relevant records.
Assisting in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax requirements.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is desirable.
Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and basic accounting concepts is essential.
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in financial analysis, identify trends, and contribute to decision-making processes.
Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
