Accounting StaffFUNCTIONSMITH SALES AND SERVICES

The key role of an Accounting Staff is responsible for general accounting scope including but not limited to maintaining accurate and up to date accounts payable / receivables and account reconciliations. They maintain financial reports, records prepare and analyze budgets and perform general bookkeeping. Responsible for billing activities such as account payables and receivables.
Responsibility:
· Effectively perform various accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing reconciliation, cost accounting, and property accounting.
· Complete general accounting related activities, as needed.
· Interpret accounting data, analysis report and recommend action.
· Prepare entries, maintain, reconcile and analyze specific general and cost accounting ledgers.
· Support corporate shared services through the reporting and analysis of accounts receivable and accounts payable, and assist with issue resolution.
· Provides ad hoc financial analysis and other cross functional associates
· Participate in month-end closing process and perform monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, as well as pre- and post-entry analysis
· Account reconciliation process and compilation
· Provide support and assistance in the maintenance and monitoring of internal control compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
Accounting experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Willing to assign in Fortune, Marikina.
