ACCOUNTING STAFF
The purpose of this role is to organize, keep track and maintain accurate records of financial transactions which will be an important data for company decisions. The potential candidate will be preparing financial statements and reports, doing bank reconciliations, and conducting financial audits. He/she will be supporting the CFO to increase efficient budget management, identify financial risks and opportunities for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares journal entries and adjusting entries.
Responsible for recording and generating invoices.
Processes daily transactions such as billing, operational expenses, and subsequent taxes.
Assist in reviewing payroll computations of HR and coordinates with bank for payroll processing.
Process credit and collections of clients of the company
Prepares financial statements (Balance sheet, Income statement) monthly for management use
Prepares monthly bank / creditcard reconciliation, monthly sales reports, and cash forecast for the whole company operating budget.
Preparation and filing of tax documents
Reviews submitted budget requests from departments for requested items that are within the budget before management approval.
Assists and involves in the process improvement of accounting process.
Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs and variances
Liaising with external auditors as part of the quarter end review process.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA
· 2 to 3 years work experience, preferably with retail companies
· Proficient in credit and collections
· Knowledgeable on payroll and tax filings
· Organization skills
· Problem-solving and analytical skills
· Communication skills - English fluency and comprehension
