JOB OVERVIEW:
Supports the Accounting Officer - Accounts Payable on ensuring the all suppliers invoices received for payment and undertaking the payment of creditors in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
Receives and evaluates invoices for processing
Prepares accounts payable voucher for all payables which passed the 3-way Match [Quantity and Price is matched between Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR) and Invoice Receipt (IR)]
Ensures that correct withholding taxes and VAT claimed are reflected on each A/P voucher
Submits for approval the vendor changes and creation, when applicable
Prepares and issues checks for payment of all Accounts Payable vouchers
Prepares and issues BIR Form 2307 - Creditable Withholding Tax Certificates as requested by suppliers
Generates the quantity per books of materials to be counted
Observes the cycle counts as scheduled
Analyzes the variances on the actual count versus book quantity
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess at least a college degree of Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accountancy or equivalent
Must have at least one year of working experience in payables processing, preferably in a multi-national company/industry.
Knowledgeable of MS Office Applications - MS Word, Excel, and Outlook 365.
Knowledgeable of SAP Accounting Software and ARIBA.
Can read, speak, and write in Spanish
Amenable to work on a night shift
