As an accounting specialist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with Nimbl clients. You will spend the vast majority of your time completing accounting work for the clients and communicating with them daily. It's imperative that you have solid English language skills and can adapt quickly to the needs of the client.
Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of bank statements
Review general ledger data, identify errors, and outline corrections.
Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all assigned client work.
Manage payroll processes and monitor payroll tax filings.
Manage sales tax nexus and monitor sales tax filings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with general ledger responsibility, with the ability and desire to lift your team up with your knowledge.
Strong analytical skills - see the big picture, how things relate and affect one another, within the clients' books, as well as business.
Excited by process and automation. Why do the same task, over and over again manually when the robots can do the work?
A spreadsheet wizard in Google Sheets, able to make sense of lots of information. Vlookups and pivot tables experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. Nothing slips past you!
Beginner software knowledge: Xero, Bill.com, Stripe
Understanding and real-life experience in
a plus * CPA license a plus!
