Job Description
The Position
We're in search of a qualified Accounting Specialist Level 1 to assist our clients with financial matters, including payroll and accounts payable and receivable. Our Accounting Specialists maintain records, develop reports, and generate cost projections. This role will work directly with our clients to handle their necessary accounting needs. RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Accounting Technology.
0-2 Years of experience
Has a strong background in accounting.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Excellent in written and oral communication in English.
Prior experience and knowledge of QuickBooks Online, XERO, and other cloud accounting software is desirable.
REQUIREMENTS:
Navigate any internal and most client-facing software in the tech stack.
Perform bank reconciliations with some help to resolve discrepancies.
Accurately categorize bank transactions with some guidance.
Carry out any process with clear instructions requiring minimal judgment, such as journal entries, bill entry, and data extraction.
Tie balance sheet accounts to schedules but may not be able to resolve discrepancies.
Assist in basic clean-ups and implementations with detailed instructions.
