Accounting Officer Job Description:
Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
Preparing budgets regularly.
Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks to provide recommendations.
Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.
Handles the financial record keeping of the organization.
Prepare invoices, check payment record payments, and manage the expenses and billings.
Weekly Reporting on Company's Financial Status.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations
Processing of balance sheets, income statements, and financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports/yearly closing reports.
Assist with other accounting projects
Accounting Officer Requirements:
A degree in accounting or similar.
Previous working experience as an Accounting Officer.
Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
Proficiency in management systems.
Administration skills.
Sound interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
Must have at least 2yrs experience in accounting
Must have knowledge in processing of BIR.
Willing to be assigned in Las Pinas.
Qualifications:
BSC degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
2 years of proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Experience using financial software
Good MS Excel skills
Knowledge of financial regulations
Good analytical and numerical skills
Sharp time management skills
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
