Perform accounting and financial analysis tasks such as recording financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining balance sheets, income statements, and journal entries.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports adhering to legal and accounting guidelines.
Ensure all accounting policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with GAAP standards.
Review supplier invoices, process accounts payable, and prepare accounts receivable invoices as required.
Assist the Finance team in financial planning and forecasting activities and prepare-year-end financial statements.
Monitor company cash flow, prepare financial records, and perform reconciliations.
Produce monthly reports of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Utilize financial software and systems to track and analyze financial statements.
As an Accountant, the essential job responsibilities require keen attention to detail and accuracy where transactions must be processed correctly and financial records kept in meticulous order. The individual is also responsible for analyzing financial data and making informed decisions while ensuring adherence to legal accounting principles. Above all, the Accountant must be an efficient problem solver and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations to make confident recommendations to clients or senior staff.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
1-3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
