Job Description
As an Accounting Staff, you will be the one to maintain/safe-keep, summarize accounting documents, and records to help the accounting department prepare the financial statements quarterly and annually. You'll be also asked to go to different banks/government agencies to deposit, withdraw, or pay any obligations the company might have. A successful accounting staff should be able to familiarize themselves with all accounting procedures and ensures that accounting functions are being performed daily.
Provide accounting support to the accounting department
Types-writes accurately and prepare accounting documents, records, and monitoring
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
Provide assistance and support accounting supervisor/accounting head
Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Function in accordance with company standards, procedures, and applicable laws
Constantly update job knowledge
Can adjust to an assigned task
