Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Billing
Updates monthly project progress report for billing preparation;
Checks invoices for sent out to US companies;
Records remittances/payments ,charges and invoices to Peachtree;
Reconciles accounts receivable and payables with US counterpart;
Payables
Prepares monthly budget, quarterly and yearly projections;
Prepares Weekly Cash Position Report;
Prepares fund transfers and withdrawals between accounts;
Checks payment requests and approves Accounts Payable /Check Vouchers, and inputs accounting entries to Peachtree;
Prepares payments for employee-related payables and benefits;
Prepares monthly bank reconciliation of all bank accounts - Dollar and Peso;
Financial Reporting
Prepares monthly general journal entries, accruals, PPE lapsing, intercompany account reconciliation and advances to employees;
Prepare detailed monthly reports on Cost vs Revenue, Project Costing, P/L Analysis, and Manpower hours and costs;
Prepare and consolidate Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements;
Prepares Work In Progress Reports (WIP) for the manufacturing plant;
Corresponds with US Controller;
Statutory Compliances
Prepares and file monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and reports for BIR, City Hall, SEC, PEZA and others;
Prepares year-end annualization reports, alphalists and other BIR reports;
Checks monthly remittances and reports to SSS, Philhealth and Pag-ibig;
Coordinates with Accounting Consultant / Auditor for year-end financial audit;
Attends to BIR, City Hall and other government compliances audit;
Others
Supervises Payroll assistant for US payroll reports and concerns;
Monitor and maintains inventory of materials and equipment for both CSFPI and CSFPI-VW plant;
Initiate process and control improvements for the department;
Does other related tasks/projects as the need arises.
Job Specifications
Education Requirements
BSC - Accounting, preferred CPA
Work Experience
At least four (4) years work experience on Accounting is required for this job
Preferably with work experience in a PEZA registered company
