Accounting Officer Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department.
Duties
l Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
l Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
l Enters data into computer system
l Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
l Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
l Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
l Investigates questionable data.
l File mandatory government benefits
l Creates FS/ITR etc.
Qualifications
l Competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, etc.
l Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
l Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
l Can do leg work going in and out of the bank
