POSITION TITLE: Accounting Officer/Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Accounting
DIRECT REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager
COORDINATES WITH: Accounting Manager/ Chief Finance Officer
JOB OVERVIEW: The job ensures timely preparation and processing of accounting/ finance related reports and timely processing/ filing of accounting related documents.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and processes all Accounts Payable vouchers requests from all Departments. (Including checking of complete attachments, preparation of BIR Form 2307 and monitoring schedule of payments).
Makes journal vouchers for intercompany and other AP vouchers which are needed to be reversed/ adjusted.
Processes payroll, last pay computation and allowances of all employees on a specified time frame. (Whether sales/ office based/ consultants)
Analyzes and reconciliates payroll and timesheets for outsourced general services of the company including janitorial and security services.
Facilitates processing and monitoring of payment for real estate property taxes, other related taxes in relation to company operations, payment for licenses, and government mandated benefits.
Monitors vouchers for in-house allowances; payments to contractors; commission releases.
Assists in schedule preparation needed by the auditors and pulling out necessary documents for audit sample.
Manages records on paid vouchers from Treasury Department and ensures those files are arranged accordingly for easy retrieval and reference.
Guides new accounting colleagues with regards to processing of accounting reports, schedules and payments.
Maintains all relevant accounting and audit schedules, companys' books of account
Other duties that maybe coordinated by immediate superior (Accounting Manager and Chief Finance Officer) from time to time.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in general accounting is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Detail oriented, flexible and keen and willing to revolve around accounting functions.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in General Accounting or equivalent.
Preferably with working experience from a real estate or insurance company
Willing to start ASAP.
Qualified candidates maybe assigned in Makati or Ortigas Center, Pasig.
