Job Description
Ø Monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the company, such as payroll, billing and collections, payables, government financial requirements and other financial transactions
Ø Oversee the members of the accounting and finance team in the efficient performance of their tasks
Ø Manage the efficiency of company’s payments and collections
Ø Makes sure that all confidential financial information are secured.
Ø Ensure the timely preparation and submission of all financial reports
o Weekly Cash Position
o Weekly Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payable Reports
o Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports
o Other Financial Reports which may be required by the company
Ø Monitoring of bank accounts and reconcile bank statements
Ø Monitor and report accounting discrepancies to the Senior Executive
Ø Ensure the efficient use of accounting software.
Ø Maintain up to date financial system knowledge.
Ø Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
Ø Understand financial regulations and manage tax payments
Ø Cooperate with Senior Executive for other finance related matters which may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Ø BS Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Ø Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is a plus
Ø Proven work experience as a Acctg. Manager or similar role
Ø Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Ø Proficiency in using industry-accepted financial software / systems (Quickbooks)
Ø Advanced MS Excel skills
Ø Knowledge of financial regulations
Ø Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Ø Sharp time management skills
Ø Strong ethics with an ability to manage confidential data
Ø Willing to work in Makati
