Originally founded as Lanot Design Studio in 2020, the company has since grown and evolved to become a full-fledged corporation in the following year. Our headquarters are currently located at 82 Road 3 Project 6, Quezon City.
Our company is comprised of several specialized departments, including Illustration, Graphic Design, 3D, Animation, Game Design, Game Development, and more. Each department is made up of passionate individuals who strive to deliver the best possible experience to our clients.
Our journey began in 2007 when Harvey Paulo O. Lanot, a young man of 19 years, decided to pursue a full-time freelance career in Manila. In a time when most young Filipinos pursued careers in Nursing, IT, or as Seamen, Harvey followed his passion for design and began producing logos, website designs, and mascot designs for clients abroad.
Over time, Harvey honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the game design industry. With a vision to create unique and immersive gaming experiences, Harvey founded Lanot Design Studio in 2020. Since then, the company has undergone significant growth and has become a leading player in the industry.

Job Description
Job Description: Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager is the overall lead of the Accounting Division responsible for providing services related to accounting of all HPL Gamedesign Corporation funds, review and processing of all disbursements on Miscellaneous and Other Operating Expenses as to the validity, completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization, financial reporting or the maintenance and updating of books of accounts of the company, and the preparation and submission of consolidated financial reports and statements required by government institutions and management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for reviewing funds on a weekly scale to make sure that all the checks and other expenses to be disbursed will be funded appropriately.
* Ensuring that financial transactions are recorded, classified, and summarized under local accounting principles and in accordance with accounting policies and that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled.
* Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
* Enters or directs the entry and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
* Performing cost forecasts/budgets for specific projects, cost tracking, and monitoring.
* Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy
* Oversee the processing of state and federal payroll taxes
* Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
* Uphold the excellent reputation of our firm
* Maintain highly organized and updated client files
* Supervise and participates in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
* Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers
* Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar financial management role, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in preparing financial statements and performing financial analyses.
Leadership and Team Management:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Demonstrated experience in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
In-depth understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
Experience in coordinating and overseeing audits.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel sheets and other relevant tools/software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, both internal and external
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritize work and allocate resources efficiently.
