Job Description
General Duties
1. Provide close supervision and guidance to accounting assistants in the process of disbursements and collections of revenues.
2. Oversee/ check/ correct/ entries entries made to books of accounts.
3. Check periodic government reports and compliance
4. Comply with reports/ documents/ reconciliations requested by other departments
5. Checking of account balances and analysis of financial statements
6. Handle enrollments/ registrations to various organizations/ government agencies as may be needed for existing and new companies
7. Provide guidance to staff as may be necessary
8. Other ad hoc functions that may arise related to Accounting
Detailed Duties

5. Checking of account balances and analysis of financial statements
6. Preparation of financial statements, quarterly and annual income tax returns and audited financial statements.
7. Handle enrollments/ registrations to various organizations/ government agencies as may be needed for existing and new companies and/or delegation of duties when necessary
8. Provide guidance to staff as may be necessary
9. Other ad hoc functions that may arise related to Accounting
Professional Eligibility
Certified Public Accountant
Skills
Skills in MS Excel
Knowledge in Accounting Standards & Financial Reporting

Education
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Experience
At least 4 years of Related work experience
Knowledge in Tax compliance, payroll, financial statement preparation and analysis is preferred but not required.
Experience with handling staff is a plus
Responsibility
1. Shall work closely with the non-CPA staff in the performance of financial functions
2. Performs account analysis and create financial reports.
2. Ensures all companies are properly managed and compliant with the regulations.
3. Checking of disbursements and its supporting documents to ensure its validity and BIR compliance, including but not limited to payment to suppliers, BIR, SSS/PHIC/HDMF/ Payroll
4. Checking of government reports/ BIR returns
5. Preparation of quarterly and annual income tax returns and other reportorial requirements required by BIR and SEC.
6. Ad hoc jobs that may require detailed research, coordination and monitoring with other departments to ensure correct, timely accomplishment of job on hand.
