We're looking for a proactive Accounting Manager that will lead all accounting and financial planning/reporting for our clients. We have a strong preference for those who have worked in a public company and/or public accounting setting and have a strong familiarity with internal controls, month end close, process, reporting, audits, etc. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting, software systems, and Excel skills. This role is great for someone who has a strong sense of order and consistency. Experience automating accounting, financial analysis, and metric dashboards preferred. We require candidates to have passed CPA certification and 8-12 years of experience.

Responsibilities
Building and implementing financial controls throughout client businesses.
Coordinating with US colleagues in addition to external tax and accounting partners
Analyzing financials and creating comprehensive financial models to help with strategic decision-making.
Managing, training, and helping hire, accounting staff.
Managing relationships with team members, clients, and external partners.
Preparing financial statements, analysis, projections, and other financial reports
Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, revenue, payroll, and travel expenses
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Support accounting functions, such as month end close and reporting, revenue recognition, customer invoicing, vendor payables, payroll, etc.
Help improve efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls
Help make decisions on continuous development of accounting policies and standard operating procedures, assist with system implementation or conversions
Requirements:
A passion for creating and maintaining good controls and accounting processes.
Deep experience in Excel
Highly experienced with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, or similar financial software
Strong technical accounting knowledge and deep familiarity with month end close
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Willing to work at a high level of intensity and fast pace to support the needs of rapidly growing businesses
Flexible and able to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining incredible attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to new situations, including learning new software.
Ability to use good judgement and keep client and company's information confidential
CPA certification
8-12 years experience
Open to work onsite for 2 weeks per quarter
