Job Description
Reporting to the Comptroller, the candidate will perform a variety of general accounting duties including, but not limited to:
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual government statutory reports
Preparing financial statements and related schedules
Preparing relevant documents for BIR filings and assessments
Preparing monthly Trial Balance and Bank Reconciliation
Ensuring the Company complies with all relevant national and local tax regulations.
Assisting the Comptroller in the monthly and annual closing of books of accounts
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the output of the accounting staff
Ensuring the accuracy of the Company's ledgers and subsidiary ledgers
Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
Collaborating with management and department heads to resolve accounting-related issues
Performing a variety of admin-related tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting
With at least 5 years of experience in General or Cost Accounting
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Well versed in all facets of accounting including preparation of FS and ITR
Previous working experience with a manufacturing or PEZA-based company is a major plus
Ability to speak Hokkien/Fukien is a plus
Computer literate and highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
Highly motivated, organized, team player, fast learner, analytical and goal-oriented
Applicants must be willing to work in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila
