The senior accountant/ accounting manager will be responsible for the preparation
of reporting deliverables relating to the Alibaba's Philippines legal entities. This
role is working closely with the regional financial reporting manager and report
directly to the ASEAN finance leader.
Responsibilities
1. Provide finance and business support to Alibaba international business in Philippines, including
bookkeeping, Invoice and payment processing, preparation of monthly trial balance, balance
sheet, income statement, cash flows and account reconciliations.
2. Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirement,
assist in the creation of policy and procedure manual to establish role to mitigate risk of errors
3. Participate in the preparation and execution of budgeting; liaised with internal and external
stakeholders and provide forward-looking financial support for business operations;
4. Being part of the ASEAN finance team, participate in regional project and assist on the
construction of the regional financial framework; include identify opportunities for process
optimization and risk control. Establish corresponding financial policy/procedures for
standardisation of financial processes.
5. Asist the regional finance leader on data analysis, including summarizing and refining business
financial data, evaluate the business performance, produce financial insight to assist on business
decisions making
6. Being the local finance contact, providing local finance support to various business teams ( such
as Alibaba Cloud, Ant Financials, Lazada), responsible for local AP/AR process for various BUs,
assist communication between external stakeholders (incl. but not limited to external auditors,
local authorities ) and Alibaba group internal finance teams
