The Accounting Manager is tasked to lead the Accounting Department and responsible for the plans, programs, and coordination of activities within the department.
Role and Responsibilities
Maintain a system of policies and process flow that create control in all functions of Finance and Accounting.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Manages financial activities from general accounting to financial analysis and reporting
To oversee arrangement of payments for expenditures
Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet on-going operational requirements
Monitors daily cash flow and monthly financial statements
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Coordinate and complete annual audits
Provide recommendations
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Meet financial accounting objectives
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Qualifications and Education
With Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant or with master's degree
With at least 7 years of experience in equivalent capacity, preferably with managerial experience in accounting and finance
Exemplary leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using computers and software
Preferably with experience in construction or telco industries
